We’re a small Australian family business who understand small business and can do as much or as little as you like. 

Design in all forms has always been a passion for me. If I wasn’t doing what I’m doing I would likely be an architect – I love designing houses!

My dad is in the building industry and I grew up with building naturally as part of my life so working with trades and the construction industry has a soft spot for me. 

I work with hundreds of industries which I enjoy learning about such as professional services, cafes, beauty, health, kids, animal, creative, art, fun and more – just ask.

The yak and the name ‘Yik Yak Creative’ came partly from ‘yak’ referring to ‘talk’ in slang which relates to the business in the ‘communication’ sense related to marketing.

I designed a geometric quirky graphic element so the ‘talking’ yak works to tie into the name.

Business names with letters that have high values in Scrabble such as J, K, Q, V, W, X, Y and Z are often more memorable as they are less commonly used in western languages.

This makes a business name easier to remember and recall.

For this reason I focused on alliteration with the ‘k”.
